Research and Planning: photoshop CD tutorial

To create my CD I uploaded the three images into photoshop, I did this by dragging and dropping the images from the file into photoshop, I then had to cut the images out.
I used the cutting tool to cut out the CD image and put it onto the music background I did this by dragging the cutting tool from the top corner of the image until it fir the CD shape, I used the marker to to move the CD onto the music backgound.
I then changed the filters of the image using the colour and balance tool.
I used the cutting tool again to cut out the bass instrument, although it was a little bit harder because it isn't a simple shape like the circle, I placed that onto the music background as well, then I changed the colour again using the colour and balance tool.
I then found the musical notes in the layers section at the side of the page and added them to the image by clicking the eye on the side, I also added text using the 'T' tool and addded shadow drop behind it which I found from the layers section.
I then got the background layer and used the wave tool to change the background and make it look more abstract.
